Last night I had my 60th birthday party here and the food was excellent and we had a ton of dishes Caesar salad ,bruschetta, spaghetti with meatballs, a veal chop, the mussels, calamari and it was all excellent. Sam. Our waiter was incredible. The service was as excellent as the food and I really had an enjoyable 60th birthday. We weren't a small party either, we were 12 people but Sam did a great job keeping up with the table and the service was absolutely incredible. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anybody who likes real Italian food and wants a nice evening out .

We came for anniversary lunch..Victoria took care of us and was amazing! So friendly and accommodating! All food came out fresh/hot and was delicious ! Atmosphere was cozy and authentic - loved the experience and highly recommend - Christine L

We visited this Italian restaurant as a group of eighth and had a lovely evening with just a few small issues. My wife and I decided to share one primo and one secondo. The bistecca (steak) was eccezionale — tender, full of flavor, perfectly cooked. The pizza was così-così, okay but nothing special. The only problem was the timing: our secondo arrived before the primo, and the pizza came much later when the rest of the table had already finished. It felt a bit confuso and out of sequence. For dolce, we ordered the apple blossom and it was assolutamente perfetta — warm, fresh, and truly delicious. A perfect ending to the meal. The service was kind and warm, and the waiter even gifted us a small porta-chiavi (جا کلیدی) as a gesture of hospitality. As Persians, we really appreciated that kindness — تشکر از مهمان‌نوازی شما. Despite the timing mistake, the atmosphere, the quality of the bistecca, and the friendly service made the evening memorable. Grazie mille per la serata. Torneremo sicuramente! ما حتماً دوباره برمی‌گردیم.

Absolutely excellent food and top-notch quality! Every dish was fresh, authentic, and just plain good Italian food. You can really taste the care that goes into each plate. A huge bonus was our server - Sam - friendly, attentive, efficient and made our birthdays dinner even better. The restaurant is tucked among commercial buildings but don;t let that stop you - it’s 100% worth it! A hidden gem for anyone craving real Italian cuisine. Highly recommend! Sam - we will be back very soon.

This was our first visit to Anna Maria Trattoria and it will not be the last! We made a family dinner reservation and were delightfully surprised by the warm, welcoming ambiance, excellent service and absolutely phenomenal food. Every person was impressed by the quality of each unique dish (pasta, meat, seafood) which was cooked to absolute perfection. Our server Sam was first rate and made two birthday guests feel extra special at the end of the meal. Thank you for a very memorable experience. We would recommend this to anyone looking for truly spectacular food and a very enjoyable dining experience.

When in Vaughan, you gotta have some Italian food. Decided to give this place a try and it did not disappoint. Not much to look from the outside as it's in a kind of industrial plaza but all the charm and flavors are inside. Will definitely be back to try other things on the menu

Feels like Grandmas kitchen! Delicious, fresh food, warm, friendly service and conversation, all with a true feel of a Mediterranean restaurant. The two ladies working were very kind, welcoming and friendly. The grilled calamari, Lasagna, the 14oz Steak and fresh Sea Bass were all truly excellent plates. This is a hidden gem in Vaughan that I’d definitely recommend to all!

One of my usual go to spots for Italian food in GTA. The dishes are perfectly cooked and the service provided by the staff is always excellent. I am personally a huge fan of their penne ala vodka.
